new years eve

Time is passing by so fast and here we are again, almost at New Year’s time! New Year’s Eve is a time to celebrate your life and this world! So I say do it as big as you can! Being the festive person that I am, every year I like to celebrate New Year’s Eve BIG! I’ve spent many New Year’s Eve on the Vegas Strip, a few in Time Square and in Paris! This year I’m so excited to be celebrating it in Amsterdam!

New Year’s is a time to reinvent yourself and to dream as BIG as you can, so why not celebrate it just as big!

Here is a collection of places around the world that celebrate New Year’s Eve right!

New York City, USA

Everyone should experience New Years in Time Square at least once in their lifetime! It’s an experience unlike any other. With 5 million people in Time Square, the ball drop countdown and confetti, there is no better way to celebrate! The city becomes alive more than any other day on this night! No matter what part of the city you’re in, you will feel the vibe of the New Years.

I’ve had the pleasure of celebrating 2 New Year’s Eve in Time Square.

LAS Vegas, USA

Sin City turns into an even BIGGER Sin City, with the biggest parties of the year! If you really wanna feel the holiday spirit join the party on the Vegas strip, as Vegas blocks off the entire strip and turns it into an amazing party, with fireworks and people of all ages. Almost every hotel usually hosts a New Year’s Eve dinner and party, the clubs are poppin and the casinos get packed. Vegas also features some of the greatest entertainers in concert. This year, you can also ring in the New Year with Lady Gaga and Britney Spears in concert. You can spend many New Years in Vegas and always find something different and exciting to do.

Last New Year’s Eve, I saw Britney in concert and it was a great show! Highly recommend!

Paris, France

You can never go wrong with Paris! Although you might not see fireworks at the Eiffel Tower, since they only have them on certain years. You will however, get to experience great parties throughout the city. Paris definitely knows how to ring in the New Years!

I celebrated New Years in Paris in 2013, near the Moulin Rouge.

London, England

Watch the spectacular firework show at the famous London Eye or anywhere overlooking the River Thames. You can also ring in the New Year’s at the famous Big Ben tower, which is not too far from the London Eye. Take part in this amazing night with over 250,000 people in this area of London.

Edinburgh, Scotland

Be a part of the special celebration of Scotland, Hogmanay New Years Eve, also known as the “Night of the Candles”! Hogmanay has a lot to offer on this night! Start the night with the traditional torchlight walk through the streets. Edinburgh throws one of the biggest festivals on this night with many rides, live-music, great entertainment and much more! And the greatest part is that it all last for 4 days in a roll! So get ready to party until the sun comes up!

To top it all off there are many free concerts to attend.

Hong Kong’s New Year’s Eve celebration features one of the world’s best firework shows, lasting a full 8 minutes! The best place to see them, would be anywhere near the Victoria Harbour and even better on a boat. 1. I have spent many New Years Eve’s in NYC (though never going to times square….I mean where do you pee?!). My favorite way to spend New Years is much quieter nowadays…love being on a mountain and going skiing or in the caribbean lounging on the beach.

    • That actually sounds just as great! hahaha peeing will cost ya! They seriously charge people money for it.

  2. I spent NYE in Budapest a few years ago and it was the best one I’ve ever had. I’ve always wanted to spend it in London, it sounds so fun! 🙂

    • WOW! That sounds amazing! Ya I totally agree, I will def end up doing a new years in London one of these years. Happy New Years!

  3. I’ve never been anywhere extravagant for the New Year, but I’ve always wanted to, even though I’m not big on crowds. This is one time that I think I’d have fun with all the crowds! I’d love Singapore.
