The Mark Luxury Hotel Prague- Review

If you’re heading out to Prague and wondering where the best luxury hotel is, with the best location, look no further. It would simply be The Mark Luxury Hotel Prague. 

Overview:

The Mark Luxury Hotel Prague is a true gem located right in the center of Prague, in close proximity to all major historical and cultural sites. Just a short walk brings you to the Old Town Square, Wenceslas Square, and the Jewish Quarter. A taxi is rarely ever necessary because everything seems to be one short and lovely walk away. It really is a wonderful experience.

This beautiful hotel dates back to the 15th Century and used to be a baroque mansion. Today it features a beautifully modern and elegant hotel with an intimate feeling, featuring just seventy-five rooms. It has a beautiful lobby lounge area, decked with a white stone fireplace that leaves you at a loss for words and delicious food and pastries to further impress you. Its large courtyard garden has a beautiful fountain and lush green scenery, creating the perfect environment for an extraordinary wedding ceremony.

The Mark also features a gallery, displaying painting and sculptures by renowned Czech artists. The abstract artwork displays have generated quite a big buzz from tourists and locals all around.

This beautiful hotel, sure knows how to keep it’s guest feeling comfortable, with easy access to wifi through the entire hotel. In addition, a free welcome drink is offered to all guests and may be served at any time during the stay. Le Grill, the hotel’s main restaurant, allows its guests to dine at any location in the hotel–whether it be theTwo Step Bar or the Winter Garden. The hotel also provides bicycles to guests, seeing as Prague is better explored by means of non-auto transportation. These little efforts to go above and beyond most hotels, must be the reason that TripAdvisor has awarded them with the certificate of excellence for five years in a row!

My Experience:

From the very start, The Mark Luxury Hotel Prague was on my list of places I was most excited to visit on my 9 countries Euro-trip. I’d been extremely excited about my stay there from the moment it was booked. I really couldn’t wait to get to Prague already, so that I can experience everything this gorgeous hotel had to offer. I am so happy to say, that The Mark Hotel upheld to all my standards in every way. My suite was an absolute princess dream. I really couldn’t wait to come back to my room and hotel after every long day of sightseeing. The bed was insanely comfortable, the food was delicious, and the location was perfect.

Room & Suites:

The Mark Luxury Hotel Prague is known for providing the largest rooms of their kind in all of Prague. Almost every room is a suite, including mine! Every day, I couldn’t wait to return to my Grand Deluxe Suite which had a separate bedroom and living area with a kitchenette.

The moment you walk through the doors, you are greeted with a beautiful kitchen that has everything you can think of: a microwave, stove counter-top, a wide range of beverages and snacks in the mini bar–including freshly made macaroons and chocolate desserts.

Next, you walk straight into the stunning living room area, with its gorgeous black chandelier which sets a relaxed and royal vibe in the room. The living room has a very comfortable couch, along with a large TV screen and a dining corner.

The master bedroom had an amazing walk-in closet, which of course is every girl’s dream away from home. The room also features a serene king-sized bed and an office table with another TV directly above it. To be honest, though, the bathroom was my favorite part! It is spacious with heated floors and a heated towel rack. I loved coming back to my room after a freezing day of sightseeing and running to the bathroom to warm myself up with a warm bubble bath and then stepping out on to the heated floor and grabbing my warm towel. It was exactly what a person would need to relax after a long day.

Wining & Dining:

The Mark Luxury Hotel Prague features award-winning Executive Chef Ondřej Koráb, creator of the delicious menu, which includes both international and Czech cuisine. The Le Grill menu offers its guests a choice of a two or three-course menu, which can be enjoyed at the Two Steps Bar or the Winter Garden. The Two Steps Bar has a unique lounge feel and a live pianist playing tunes all night. The Winter Garden alternatively allows guests to enjoy an outdoors feel, with all-glass walls and ceiling and a view of the outdoor Courtyard Garden. During the summer, however, guests can enjoy lunch or dinner at the Courtyard Garden, which has its own stunning view. The food was so good, it brought me back the next night craving their Creamy Salsify Soup and Hulled Grain Risotto.

Prague is known for being fairy-tale like city, filled with dreamy castles, bridges, and colorful buildings. If you’re really looking to make this glorious fantasy come to life, look no further than The Mark Luxury Hotel Prague.
